International Yoga Day
Sardar Doon Public School, Jodhpur, celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga with great zeal and participation, reaffirming its commitment to holistic education and student well-being. The event was held early Saturday morning at the school assembly ground in collaboration with JITO Jodhpur Chapter and Priyanka’s Yoga Studio, drawing over 120 participants including students, parents, and staff members. The session commenced at 6:00 AM and witnessed a vibrant and peaceful atmosphere as participants performed various yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and meditative practices under the guidance of certified yoga trainers from Priyanka’s Yoga Studio. Adding to the significance of the occasion, Jodhpur City MLA, Mr. Atul Bhansali, graced the event with his presence and actively participated in the session. In his brief address, he lauded the school’s initiative in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and community engagement through yoga. He also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of parents and students, encouraging everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily lives. The Principal of Sardar Doon Public School expressed heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests, yoga experts, and all participants for making the event a resounding success.
